Founder and Director of Leading Authentically
Lexi Salt (she/her) is a Gendered and Sexual Violence Prevention Educator and has been facilitating consent and healthy masculinity workshops for over 10 years. She is the Founder and Director of Leading Authentically, an education-based organization which builds supportive, safer and connected communities on and off the dance floor.
Grounded in experiential learning and lived experience, Lexi founded Empowered Connections: Consent on the Dance Floor, a consent-based dance workshop which provides participants with skills of consent, healthy communication, effective feedback, and meaningful connection.
Lexi holds a Masters of Arts in Community Psychology at Wilfrid Laurier University. Her research examines the lived experiences of women of colour with gender-based violence in the Toronto and Kitchener-Waterloo Latin dance communities. Lexi is passionate about unpacking power dynamics, systemic transformation, and radical self-care. As an activist and artist, she is dedicated to using dance to facilitate social change.
